KEEP CALM & JINGLE ON
Keep Calm & Jingle On
The Christmas season can be chaotic and the circumstances of Jesus’ birth were also the same. It doesn’t sound like the narrative we’d write if we were GOD. Some of the circumstances around the original Christmas Story parallel our lives today — the need for peace and hope and serenity, amidst the chaos. Join us this for the 4-week series as we look at ways to keep calm & jingle on, making the most of the Christmas Season.

Week 301 // November 25, 2012 // Calm At Home
In the lead-off week of our new holiday series, XPT Teaching Team member, Julie Buchtenkirch explains how we need to Keep Calm at home to Jingle On through this holiday season. Sometimes it’s tragedy, a circumstance, or a person that causes us to look through a different lens and see things differently. Listen as Julie explains how prioritizing, even at home, can help your season more cheery and less draining.
Week 302 // December 02, 2012 // Calm In Relationships
This week Curt talks relationships. We all have issues in our relationships and when things get stressed, the issues get worse. The same was true for Joseph in the original Christmas story. Everything got turned upside down because of a visit from an angel. And, somehow Joseph found a way to keep calm.
Week 303 // December 09, 2012 // Calm Through The Circumstances
Have you ever been in the middle of a situation and you just can’t see God in it? If you haven’t, you’re probably right around the corner from one. And, you’re not alone. Listen as Curt lays out Mary’s situation. It was crazy. It would be crazy today. But, Mary trusted. And through the certainty of what the Angel told her, here thousands of years later, we can see that the things said to her, actually have come to pass… including God’s continued assurance of being with you through the circumstances.
Week 304 // December 16, 2012 // Choose Peace
We have the ability to choose the direction of our holiday season. Every choice we make can either lead to more chaos or more peace. In this week’s teaching, Curt explains how prioritizing your season can lead to more peace thorough the holidays.
