WK 291 // SEPTEMBER 16, 2012 // THE PORCH
This weekend we kicked off our new series called Backyard Gospel. We’ve taking a look at the simple practical ways that we can and should share our faith. In the lead-off teaching, Lead Pastor Curt Walters explains that when we have good news, we share it… all over the place. A great mechanic, a relaxing place to go on vacation, a cheap way to get to Disney–these are all things we want to share. Our faith should be as simply expressed. Then at the end, listen to Penn Jilette of Penn & Teller share a story of man who gave him a Bible one night after a show.
WK 292 // SEPTEMBER 23, 2012 // THE BACKYARD
When you think of the backyard, it’s a place for BBQs, hangouts, and playing with your friends. It’s possibly the most informal place of your home. So, inviting our circles of influence, whether it be co-workers, friends, or neighbors, sharing your faith within your circles of influence should be easy. Listen in as Curt welcomes Paul Hevesy back to the platform to share with us from the corporate side of the fence.

This week’s podcast is unavailable due to technical difficulties.
WK 294 // OCTOBER 07, 2012 // THE TOOLSHED
Nobody really likes criticism. Sometimes we need to hear things that we don’t want to. And, sometimes we look for excuses to not take hear the hard things and learn from them. Today, Curt invites Ann Smith (an 88-year-old mentor to Curt and his wife) to join him on the platform to share what it looks like to build into people so they really hear you when you have to have those “toolshed,” hard to hear things kind of conversations.
Warning: Ann was so awesome we posted both services’ recording.
