This time last year we took a journey into some CRAZY territory.
Now a year later, we’re revisiting all those dreams from a GOD that seems to be so crazy in love with humanity that HE leads us into these crazy dreams.
We’ll have updates on where we’re going and what we’re looking at…
We’ll look at some of the obstacles we’ve been facing…
And, of course, we’ll explore what it means for us to jump in feet first to the love of GOD that relentlessly pursues us.*

Jesus said in Luke 18, that there’s not a lot of margin when it comes to living a life like his. We either were giving it our all or we weren’t. And if we weren’t giving our all, our best, going crazy for his dreams for us, then we were “like lukewarm water” about to be spit from his mouth. Truth is, there are a lot of things that get in our way. In this week’s podcast, Lead Pastor Curt Walters invites us to explore our reasons for living lukewarm lives.

As we’ve been tracking with this crazy dream that GOD has given us for a more permanent launch pad for Crosspoint, we’ve come to see that sometimes we, as humans, have the tendency to get ahead of GOD’s plans for us. We think we have it all figured out, then when something doesn’t go like we’ve planned, it can be hard to deal with. This week, Curt lays out the vision of why we do what we do and why we’re shooting to follow GOD’s dream for our community. It’s all about change. In the world, in our community, and within us as well. Also, this week’s podcast holds an update on the search for the new launch pad for Crosspoint. There have been some obstacles and some moments for rejoicing. All to say, GOD has something even bigger in mind than what we thought.

As humans we typically work to achieve our stability, our goals. Attempting to meet our needs is a normal way of life. But, GOD calls us to something different than that. Through this revisiting of our Crazy Journey we’ve been looking at the ways that GOD says, “Trust me. I’ll provide.” Lead Pastor Curt Walters explores how trusting and having an posture of openness with the things GOD has blessed us with can be a hard way to live. But, it’s worth it.

There is always an element of risk involved in sacrifice. Typically, it takes sacrifice for a dream to come to fruition. And we believe that GOD is directing this Crazy Dream we’re pursuing. The Bible tells story after story of how sacrifice has eternal significance. Jesus sacrificed long before he died on the cross. He gave us an example of how to live lives of sacrifice. This week, Lead Pastor Curt Walters shows how a life of sacrifice and choosing to let go of the things that consume us, actually brings us closer to GOD and closer to His dream for our community.

On the anniversary of that “goal smashing” we’re celebrating what’s happening because of this crazy dream GOD is leading us in.
