Jesus calls us to follow the leader.
No prerequisites, no qualifiers, no evals just a simple invitation.
Because he knew that when we run with God,
we’re running the right direction.
Join us as we kick off the New Year exploring practical ways to listen, learn and follow the Leader.
1.3+6.19 – Week 619 – Curt Walters – Set up
Jesus calls us to follow the leader. No prerequisites, no qualifiers, no evals just a simple invitation. This weekend we kick off the New Year exploring practical ways to listen, learn and follow the Leader.
1.10+13.19 – Week 620 – Curt Walters – Next Steps
Religion says, Change and you can join us. Jesus says, Join us and you will change. Regardless of your belief or behavior, this weekend Curt unpacks how following always begins with taking one small step.
1.17+21.19 – Week 621 – Chris Maloney – Fearless
We want to follow Jesus, but where is he leading? What is the payoff for following him? Is it being a better person? Is it life in heaven after we die? Is it a pain-free life? If you follow Jesus, you will be a better person. If you follow him, you will go to heaven. If you follow him, you won’t have a pain-free life. But that’s okay because Jesus offers much more.
1.24+27.19 – Week 622 – Curt Walters – What Do I Wear?
Everyone is invited to follow Jesus regardless of belief or past. There’s no evals and no prerequisites, but what do they look like? Let’s just say it’s way more than their t-shirts.
1.31+2.3.19 – Week 623 – Curt Walters & Vince Constantine – GAMEDAY TEACH OFF
This is the one holiday that ALL Americans enjoy – you know, the game day that is “super” and referred to as a “bowl” (legally, we can’t say the phrase). At Crosspoint, we have this belief that among other things – church should be, well… FUN! So, when you merge one of America’s favorite game days with church, you end up with an irreverent teaching competition that turns “church” into a spectator sport.
Grab all your rowdy friends and start your game day at one of our three weekend services at Crosspoint!
2.7+10.19 – Week 624 – Curt Walters – Consumer or Follower
Jesus invites us to follow but as anyone knows, somewhere along the way it’s going to cost you something, though it may be different than you might expect. Join us this week as we explore.
2.14+17.19 – Week 625 – Chris Maloney – What I Want To Want
Most of us don’t become Christians with the intent of following Jesus. We become Christians because we are told obedience pays and disobedience doesn’t. We become Christians hoping that spirituality will fill the holes in our souls. We become Christians hoping God will fix us. Eventually, our agendas clash with Jesus’ agenda, and we have to decide whether we’ll abandon him or follow.
