Join us for a 6-week journey as we explore taking brave steps and walking in the confidence and power of who God made us to be. Jesus calls us to step out of the boat and into an adventure. We’re constantly facing the choice to stay in comfort and security or rely on God’s power to face our fears and step into something new.
YOU WERE MADE FOR BRAVERY.
WHAT’S A JOURNEY?
A journey is a 6-week teaching series where everyone in the church gets on the same page. From the youngest kid’s class that has a lesson to the oldest person attending a weekend service, we’ll all dive in together on what it looks like to find ourselves at home, no matter where we are.
To experience the most out of a journey, someone’s week would look something like this:
Each part of the weekly rhythm is important, but possibly the most crucial piece of the journey is the small group discussion component.
+ GO TO THE WEEKEND MESSAGE.
Each journey week begins here. You’ll be immersed in the journey experience, provoked by art and creativity, and taught foundational truths for each week’s Brave topic.
It’s super important. Be there.
+ GO TO YOUR SMALL GROUP.
In this casual and relational environment, you share what you’re learning, encourage others, get encouraged, and maybe eat some chips (BYOC, though).
+ DO YOUR HOMEWORK.
It’s easy. Download the Brave Journey App or login online HERE and follow the prompts. They’re easy and fun. (For real, they’re pretty fun.)
+ GET IN A GROUP

Week 504 // October 16, 2016 // Adventure
Curt Walters talks about how Bravery is linked to adventure, requires community, requires direction and leads to the hand of God.
Week 505 // October 23, 2016 // Power/Identity
When you realize who Jesus is and receive his power, you get brave.
Week 506 // October 30, 2016 // Storms
Everything good will encounter resistance, but your storm cannot overtake God’s purposes in your life.
Week 507 // November 6, 2016 // Leap
Take the brave step you’ve been feeling. This week is a Crosspoint first. The teachings is brought to you via video from Israel from Brian Tome, lead pastor of Crossroads Church in Cincinnati.
Watch as Brian teaches from the very places that Jesus fed the 5,000 and the lake where Peter walked on water.
Week 508 // November 13, 2016 // Brave Life
This week we’re looking ahead to see what it’s going to take to live a brave life. It’s not just about being brave now but continuing to live a life of bravery, following Jesus.
Week 509 // November 20, 2016 // Baptism
Jesus died for us so that we may bravely walk through our storms. Surrendering our lives fully to Jesus is possibly the bravest thing we can do.
